5. Required Tools and Equipment
• Keys for the lockbox and service panel
• Winch handle (if not attached)
• Locking pins
• Cotter pins
Inspect each leg to ensure they have been extended, are cranked down, and secure the yellow pins. Using the Level on the front bumper, confirm the trailer is as stable as possible. If located in an area that could produce mud due to excessive rain, you may consider relocating the trailer to stable ground. If it is determined the trailer needs to be relocated, please get in touch with our support team for assistance.
Locate the lockbox on the Front Passenger side of the Solar Trailer. Passcode: 3009. Remove keys from the lockbox.
Use keys to unlock the service panel on the Passenger side of the trailer.
Locate the plastic box located inside the trailer. If the winch handle is not already attached to the mast, remove the winch handle from the box and attach to the mast cable.
Remove the locking pin from the hole located on the front-facing side of the mast
Turning the hand crank in a counterclockwise motion, begin to lower the mast until it sits flush with the metal collars. Place the locking pin with the cotter pin secured to it back in the plastic bin.
Now let’s retract the solar panels. Unlock the main lock located at the top or tops of the unit
Once the main lock has been disconnected hit the blue Tab at the bottom of the solar panels to slide them out till they lock into place.
All that is left is to ensure the access doors have been locked up and the keys returned to the lockbox on the front of the trailer.
